Domestic and International Transit – Pouria Seiran Rah Company
Table of Contents
With extensive experience in international logistics, Pouria Seiran Rah provides domestic and international transit services for cargo owners, traders, and transport companies.
International Transit: Cargo passes through Iranian territory from the origin country to the destination country without consumption or change in nature.
Domestic Transit: Cargo moves from one border point to another within the country.
International transit is conducted under the TIR Convention (International Road Transport under customs seal) and the CMR Convention (defining carrier responsibilities). For rail transit, the COTIF Convention and CIM regulations apply. Compliance with Iranian customs regulations and port authority guidelines is also mandatory for multimodal transport.
Selecting the appropriate Incoterms depends on the contract:
FCA – Delivery at the origin border terminal
CPT / CIP – Delivery at the destination border with or without insurance
DAP – Delivery at the destination location outside the country
Pouria Seiran Rah utilizes key corridors such as the North–South International Corridor, Lapis Corridor, East–West Corridor (Silk Road), and the Trans-Caspian route to reduce transit time and optimize costs.
Using a diverse fleet, including trucks, rail wagons, bulk containers, and refrigerated containers, the company ensures the safe and efficient movement of a wide range of goods.
Additional services include customs sealing at origin, border loading and unloading coordination, satellite tracking, all-risk insurance, and transit document management, ensuring cargo passes through smoothly without delays or legal issues.
